New year, new ventures

It’s 2017. A fresh beginning.
I’ve made the move back to Singapore and am determined to make the best out of it.

Leaving Australia has been bittersweet. It was extremely tough saying all those rockstars at Balcatta vets and the friends I’ve made over the course of my 2.5 years stay in Perth.

But moving has always been in my blood.

My first move was to Melbourne at the age of 19. Right out of Junior college and straight into Melbourne Uni (even before the release of our A’ levels results). I subsequently came back to Singapore between the years of 2013- mid 2014 after my graduation.

Working at Balcatta Vets (Vet24) has allowed me to honed in on my veterinary skills and develop leadership skills. This hospital is truly one of the best in the industry and i feel extremely privileged to be part of the team.
Having the training of emergency medicine and critical care on my back, i feel ready to take on the next chapter of my life.

So here’s this blog. I have created this blog to dedicate to the public my training as a Veterinary Surgeon/ Veterinarian. As we all know, there’s a large amount of google information out there- a small percentage of that may be accurate, however there is also a huge amount of content out there that holds no basis.

I intend to discuss pet related conditions to help better inform the general public. Ultimately knowledge is power.

Please note that  should you have any specific questions about any medical matter, you should consult your doctor/veterinarian or other professional healthcare provider.

  1. What a wonderful connection. A direct result of your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. As we have nine dogs, four cats, two ponies, two horses, four chickens, and a parakeet what you publish on your blog may well be of interest! πŸ˜…

Please, do consider sharing your posts with my readers as a guest post. They would love to read your news.
